Cushion Sand is a general purpose sand that is more compactible than most sands and can contain some clay and small stones. It is neither screened nor processed.
Cushion Sand is most commonly used under patios and under concrete work for levelling. Due to its compaction properties, it can also help minimize gravel loss from water drainage when layered under gravel.
Other common applications: - Pipe Bedding - Leveling Areas - Soil amendment when blended with compost - Base layer under new concrete foundations
